Tends vacuum pan to wash and dry crystallized tetryl powder
for fruther processing into explosives: Opens release valve to
transfer tetryl from crystallizer to vacuum pan.
Fills pan with
warm water and tunrs suction valve to draw off liquid and
dissolved impurities, leaving powder to settle in felt bag.
Shoevls and scrapes powder into tub on handtruck.
May scrape
powder into trays and place trays in dyring chambers.
